Veneer Costs in Glasgow

Per-tooth prices, typical totals, what's included, what moves the price, how to compare quotes, and how to spread the cost.

The short answer

How Much Do Veneers Cost in Glasgow?

At St Vincent Smile in Finnieston, Glasgow, porcelain veneers are from £695 per tooth and composite veneers are £395 per tooth, with composite packages from £1,550 for four teeth to £3,950 for ten, whitening included. Most people have six to ten teeth treated. Your smile design and trial smile are included in the fee, which is fixed in writing after a free consultation, and treatment of £1,500 or more can be spread through Chrysalis Finance, interest free over 6 or 12 months, subject to status.

What Do Veneers Cost per Tooth?

VeneerPer toothLasts
PorcelainFrom £695Often 10 to 15 years or more
Composite£395On average 3 to 5 years before a refresh

These are guide prices.2 "From" means the fee for a straightforward tooth; a tooth that needs more work can cost more, and your written plan sets out the fee for each tooth before anything is prepared. Porcelain veneers are made in a laboratory from an iTero Lumina scan and need a thin layer of enamel removed. Composite veneers are built by hand in the chair with little or no preparation, which is why they cost less and why they need refreshing sooner. Our guide to porcelain and composite veneers compares them in detail.

How Glasgow compares. Across the Glasgow practices that published a porcelain veneer price in October 2026, the figure runs from roughly £350 to £1,050 a tooth, with most between £500 and £850. A few quote per set rather than per tooth, several don't name the material, and most don't say whether the smile design, the temporaries and the review are included. At £695 a tooth with the design and trial smile included, ours sits in the middle of that range, and the written plan tells you exactly what the fee covers before anything is prepared.

What Does a Full Set Cost?

TeethPorcelain, fromComposite
4£2,780£1,550
6£4,170£2,350
8£5,560£3,150
10£6,950£3,950

Composite veneers are priced like our bonding packages, which include whitening, a review appointment and a final polish.2 The porcelain figures are the per-tooth guide price multiplied up, as a starting point. Most people show six to ten upper teeth when they smile, so veneers usually cover the teeth that show. Some people need only one or two, to match a single dark or chipped tooth, and your smile design shows exactly which teeth would change.

Spread over 12 months interest free, six porcelain veneers from £4,170 is from £348 a month, and ten from £580.4

What's Included?

  • A free consultation, with a £40 deposit refunded within 7 days of attending
  • Photographs, video and an iTero Lumina scan, with no putty impressions
  • Digital smile design on your own face, and a trial smile so you see the result first
  • Temporary veneers while porcelain veneers are made

Whitening is included in every composite package. If you'd like whiter natural teeth before porcelain veneers are matched to them, home whitening is £350.2 A custom night guard, if you grind, is £210.

What Affects the Price

The number of teeth, the material, how much preparation is needed, who designs and makes the veneers, and what aftercare is included. In more detail:

  • How many teeth show. A broad smile may need eight or ten; a narrower one, six.
  • Porcelain or composite. Laboratory-made porcelain costs more per tooth and lasts longer.
  • What needs doing first. Decay, gum disease or old fillings on front teeth are treated before veneers, and priced separately in your plan.
  • Whether you straighten first. Invisalign adds time and cost, but often means thinner veneers, or fewer of them.
  • Whitening. Included with composite packages; £350 on its own.

A very low price can mean thinner preparation planning, cheaper materials or no trial smile, so ask exactly what's included.

How to Compare Quotes

Two quotes rarely cover the same thing. Before you compare the totals, check each one answers these questions in writing:

  • Is the price per tooth or per set, and how many teeth does it cover?
  • Are they veneers or crowns? Much of what's sold as veneers abroad is crowns, which need far more of the tooth filed away.
  • How much enamel will be removed, and is there a trial smile before any of it is?
  • Are the smile design, temporaries, fitting and review included?
  • Who makes the veneers, and from what material?
  • What happens, and what does it cost, if one chips or comes loose?
  • Is the fee fixed in writing before treatment starts?

A good practice answers all of these without being asked twice. Our guide to treatment abroad covers what to check if you're considering a clinic overseas.

Can I Spread the Cost?

Yes. Treatment from £1,500 to £25,000 can be paid monthly through Chrysalis Finance, subject to status. You can choose 0% interest over 6 or 12 months, or 12 to 60 months at 14.9% APR representative, with an optional deposit of up to half the cost. You apply online once your written plan is agreed. See finance options for the terms.

Representative example: Total amount of credit £5,000. Total charge for credit £1,975.60. Total amount repayable £6,975.60, by 60 monthly payments of £116.26. Representative 14.9% APR. Based on treatment costing £5,000 with no deposit, repaid over 60 months. Acceptance is subject to status. Terms and conditions apply.

Cheaper Alternatives to Veneers

Veneers aren't always the answer, and the cheaper option is sometimes the better one. If only the colour bothers you, home whitening is £350 and changes nothing else. Chips, small gaps and uneven edges can be reshaped with edge bonding at £395 per tooth, with little or no drilling. Crooked or crowded teeth are usually better straightened with Invisalign, from £3,750 with whitening and retainers included, which often removes the need for veneers altogether.2

Sometimes one or two veneers, to match a single dark or oddly shaped tooth to its neighbours, does more for a smile than a full set. Your consultation is about finding the least treatment that gives the result you want, not the most.

Getting a Fixed Price

Book a free consultation, with a £40 deposit refunded within 7 days of attending. A smile design consultation takes around ninety minutes and includes photographs, a 3D scan and your digital smile design. You leave with a written plan showing which teeth would change, the fee for each, the order of treatment and the total, and that fee doesn't change once you decide to go ahead. If anything unexpected comes up, we talk it through with you before doing anything that would alter it.

There's no obligation. Many people book to find out what's possible and what it would cost, and decide later. Please give us at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or move your appointment. The deposit isn't refunded if you don't attend.

Questions

Is there a member discount on veneers? No. Veneers aren't covered by the dental plan discount, and nor are composite bonding, implants or Invisalign. Your plan's other benefits still apply, including the hygiene visits that help veneers last.
Is the veneers consultation free?Yes. You pay a £40 deposit to book, and it's refunded within 7 days of your visit. You'll leave with a written plan and a fixed fee, with no obligation to go ahead. Please give us at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or move your appointment. The deposit isn't refunded if you don't attend.
Why does the porcelain price say "from"?Because the fee depends on the tooth. £695 is the guide price for a straightforward porcelain veneer. Teeth that need more work, or old restorations that must be replaced first, can cost more, and your written plan shows the fee for each tooth before anything starts.
Are veneers cheaper abroad? The headline price often is. Add flights, accommodation, time off, and the cost of aftercare or repairs at home, and check exactly what's being done, because much of what's sold as veneers abroad is crowns. Our guide to treatment abroad covers the questions to ask.
How much is a single veneer? From £695 for porcelain or £395 for composite. Single veneers are usually for one dark, chipped or oddly shaped tooth, and a shade check and trial smile still matter, because one tooth has to match its neighbours exactly.
