0% And Monthly Finance
How dental finance works at St Vincent Smile: the 0% and longer-term options, worked monthly examples, how to apply, and who it suits.
Can You Pay for Dental Treatment Monthly in Glasgow?
Yes. At St Vincent Smile in Finnieston, Glasgow, treatment from £1,500 to £25,000 can be spread through Chrysalis Finance, subject to status. You can choose 0% interest over 6 or 12 months, so you pay only the price of your treatment, or a longer term of 12 to 60 months with interest, for a lower monthly payment; the representative APR and example are below. A deposit is optional, up to half the cost. You apply online once your written treatment plan and fixed fee are agreed, and treatment starts once finance is in place.
What Are the Finance Options?
| Term | Interest | Good for |
|---|---|---|
| 6 or 12 months | 0%, interest free | Paying only the treatment price, in a few larger instalments |
| 12, 24, 36, 48 or 60 months | 14.9% APR representative | A lower monthly payment over a longer term |
Finance is available on treatment from £1,500 to £25,000, through Chrysalis Finance and subject to status. A deposit is optional, up to half the cost of treatment: pay one if you'd like to borrow less, or nothing if you'd rather keep your savings. Chrysalis confirms your exact monthly payment when you apply.
Representative example: Total amount of credit £5,000. Total charge for credit £1,975.60. Total amount repayable £6,975.60, by 60 monthly payments of £116.26. Representative 14.9% APR. Based on treatment costing £5,000 with no deposit, repaid over 60 months. Acceptance is subject to status. Terms and conditions apply.
What Can I Use Finance For?
Any treatment at St Vincent Smile that costs between £1,500 and £25,000. In practice that means the bigger things:
- Dental implants, from £2,775 for a single implant and crown, and full-arch implants from £9,300 per arch
- Implant-retained dentures, from £8,500 per jaw
- Invisalign, from £3,750 to £5,250, with whitening, refinements and Vivera retainers included
- Composite bonding packages, from £1,550 for four teeth with whitening included
- Porcelain veneers, from £695 per tooth, so a set covering several teeth
- Smile makeovers that combine these treatments
Treatment below £1,500, such as a single filling, a crown or a whitening kit, is paid directly to the practice. Facial aesthetics can be financed too when a treatment plan reaches £1,500.

What Would It Cost a Month?
These illustrations show the 0% option over 12 months with no deposit, so you pay only the price of the treatment, split into twelve. They're a guide: Chrysalis Finance confirms your exact figure when you apply, and acceptance is subject to status.
| Treatment | Fee | Around, a month, 12 months at 0% |
|---|---|---|
| Composite bonding, 6 teeth, whitening included | £2,350 | £196 |
| Single implant and crown, from | £2,775 | £232 |
| Invisalign Lite | £3,750 | £313 |
| Invisalign Comprehensive | £4,750 | £396 |
| Full-arch implants, per arch, Healed Foundation | £9,300 | £775 |
Over 6 months at 0%, the monthly figures are roughly double. Over a longer term the monthly payment falls but interest is added, so you repay more in total: the representative example above shows how a treatment repaid over 60 months costs more than its price.
How Do I Apply?
- Agree your treatment plan. After your consultation you get a written plan with a fixed fee, which doesn't change once you decide to go ahead.
- Apply online with Chrysalis Finance. It's a short online application. We'll help you with it at the practice if you'd like, or you can do it at home.
- Get a decision. Chrysalis Finance confirms whether you're approved and what your monthly payment will be.
- Start treatment. Treatment goes ahead once finance is in place.
You can work out your monthly payments first with the finance calculator on our finance page, which opens Chrysalis Finance's secure application when you're ready. Acceptance is subject to status, which means Chrysalis runs its own checks; they'll explain how those work before you apply. The credit agreement is between you and Chrysalis Finance, so questions about the agreement itself go to them, and questions about your treatment come to us.
0% Or a Longer Term?
The 0% options cost you nothing extra: you pay the price of your treatment and nothing more, in 6 or 12 instalments. If the monthly figure fits your budget, that's usually the one to choose.
The longer terms, from 12 up to 60 months at 14.9% APR representative, bring the monthly payment down, which can make a larger treatment such as full-arch implants manageable. The trade-off is interest, so the total you repay is higher, and the longer the term, the more it adds up.
A deposit of up to half the cost reduces what you borrow and your monthly payment on either option. It's entirely optional.
Other Ways to Manage the Cost
Finance isn't the only way to keep treatment affordable:
- Consultations are free. Implant, Invisalign, bonding, veneer and smile makeover consultations carry a £40 deposit, refunded within 7 days of attending, so finding out your options costs nothing.
- Your fee is fixed in writing before treatment starts, so there are no surprises part-way through.
- Dental membership patients get 10% off most private treatment, excluding extensive cosmetic treatment, implants and orthodontics. Plans start at £24.10 a month; see our dental plans.
- Whitening is included in every Invisalign and composite bonding package, so there's nothing separate to budget for.
- Treat in stages. Many people straighten or whiten first and do the rest later, which spreads the cost over time without borrowing.
Who Does Finance Suit?
Finance suits people who have decided on a treatment, know the fixed fee, and would rather pay in predictable monthly amounts than in one go. The 0% options are a straightforward way to do that at no extra cost. The longer terms suit larger plans where a 12-month payment would be too high.
It doesn't suit everyone. If the monthly payment would stretch you, a smaller plan, staged treatment or waiting a little longer is a better choice, and we'll say so. Missing payments on any credit agreement can have consequences, so only borrow what you can comfortably repay. Finance can't be used for treatment under £1,500, and acceptance is subject to status. If you're unsure, ask us at your consultation or book one online; there's no obligation to go ahead.
