Help with Costs
NHS examinations are free for everyone in Scotland, and treatment is free for anyone under 26. If you're pregnant or have had a baby in the last 12 months, treatment is free too.
If you get certain benefits, or have an HC2 or HC3 certificate from the NHS Low Income Scheme, you may get free or reduced-cost treatment. Ask us if you're not sure. We'll check before anything is done.
Out of hours, NHS 24 on 111 can advise on urgent dental problems.
